we've had quite a lot of queries lately about the use of shop hired carpet cleaning machines.
Although I could be seen as slightly biased!! we never recommend the use of hire machines without some degree of knowledge on carpet fibres, it can be so easy to cause damage with careless cleaning. Often the carpet can be left over-wet (which can lead to smells and sometimes mould growth)
Hire machine are under-powered which mean that to compensate they need to use significant amounts of cleaning chemicals to remove the dirt, if anyone in your household have problems with skin sensitivity or breathing problems these left behind chemicals can have an adverse effect on thier health.
The cost of hiring these machines can at first look atractive... but once all the extras are added they can be become less affordable.
Henry cleaned my chair last week. This is the 3rd time in The last year we have used him we now have a regular arrangement for him to yearly clean our carpets this way our carpets never look really dirty an he tells us will last a lifetime.
We now look forward to his visits and our regular chats in Cafe Neros!!

over the last 3 years Henry has cleaned for us many times, we have used his carpet cleaning service and also powerwashing of our patio. I work with his wife so any time I have any spills he is the first person I call!! nothing is too much trouble for him and he always arrives with a happy smile
I would just like to say how helpful Henry was yesterday when i had a slight accident and cut my leg. I managed to get to the bathroom but unfortunately `I left a trail of blood along the hallway.
I called Henry as I had seen him many times working around Beverley so thought he would live locally.
The blood on the carpet looked terrible and My daughter was due to bring my two grandsons to visit so i needed a quick job, Henry fitted me in early morning and removed the blood stains off the carpet within the hour. he was also very reasonably priced.
Today Henry cleaned our upstairs flat ready for it to be re-let. it had some very bad stains in the hallways which Henry completely removed. when he had finished everything smelled fresh and clean we were very happy with his work. -studio 45. lairgate, Beverley-
